![]() ![]() Use it to build quick 3D mockups or fully functional environments for mobile applications. Overall, I'm very pleased! Thanks again for creating this app. One feature request: I'd love to have boolean operations to punch holes in the mesh. Thanks so much to the developers of this app!!! This is going to be a major creativity booster for me. This version of Verto is prone to occasional crashing, so I recommend saving often by evoking an autosave by clicking the "library" button and then reloading the file. I've been working with the app for about four hours now, and really enjoying the ability to build quick models and then applying textures that I hand-paint in a separate app (I use ArtStudio, which works great). This app makes for a great introduction to working with polygons, which is the foundation of all 3D modeling programs. Of course, this is by no means a full-featured 3D application, but for what it can do, its excellent. I'm loving the simple and intuitive interface. I'm thrilled that I can build and texture 3D models using hand gestures on the iPad! The touch screen is the ultimate way to work in 3D, as you can quickly spin the model around make quick edits on the fly. Seriously considering picking it up if I can get a discount for owning the original for so long… :) I see he's also ported the app to the mac. 5 stars for the dev! Now if he adds dropbox or google drive support, its game over. Viewing the model in object mode however is smooth enough to be useful in its own right. Expecting a crash or error, it loaded! Edits are possible, however, like I said before, with high density models, don't expect to get into edit mode and do anything. To test the functionality, I loaded one of my team members first models. However, my lower poly work loads and edits fine. IT loaded! I can't say editing is useful, the mesh is too dense. I imported my current Robot project with a substantial number of quads. Well, I'm pleased to say he delivered in buckets. The dev answered my email about a month ago stating he was working on Quad support. ![]() ![]() This was a decent 3d app, not too useful for my workflow sadly due to its lack of quad support. ![]()
